Privacy Policy — TubSwap

Privacy Policy

Effective date: 06/06/2026

This Privacy Policy explains how TUBSWAP ("TubSwap," "we," "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use tubswap.com and related services (the "Service"). TubSwap is a lead-generation and matching service — not a contractor, installer, or licensed home-improvement professional. By using the Service, you agree to this Policy.

1. Information we collect

Information you provide on our form, such as your name, address, ZIP code, email, phone number, homeownership status, the person the project is for, the type of project (for example, tub-to-shower conversion), the reason for it, and your timeframe.

Information collected automatically, such as IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, and form interactions, via cookies and similar technologies.

Consent and verification records, including the consent language you agreed to, timestamps, session length, and third-party verification tokens (for example, TrustedForm and Jornaya LeadiD) documenting your request and consent.

Information from third parties, such as marketing sources, verification providers, and partners.

2. How we use information

  • To match you with, and transmit your information to, home-improvement contractors, providers, and marketing partners who may contact you about bathroom and home-improvement options;
  • To operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Service;
  • To detect and prevent fraud and verify lead quality and consent;
  • To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms; and for our own marketing, where permitted.

3. How we share and sell information

This is core to how the Service works. When you submit the form, we share and/or sell the information you provide to third-party contractors, home-improvement providers, and marketing partners so they can contact you about options. We also share information with service providers (hosting, analytics, verification, communications) and as required by law or in a business transfer.

Because we transfer your information to partners who may pay for it and use it for their own marketing, this constitutes a "sale" and/or "sharing" of personal information under certain state laws. You may opt out — see Section 6 and our Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page.

4. Your consent to be contacted

By submitting the form and agreeing to our consent language, you authorized TubSwap and its home-improvement and marketing partners to contact you — including by autodialer, prerecorded or artificial voice, and text — at the number you provided, even if it is on a state or federal Do-Not-Call list. This consent is not a condition of any purchase. You may revoke it at any time by replying STOP to texts, asking a caller to stop, or contacting us at [email protected]. Message and data rates may apply.

5. Cookies and tracking

We and our partners use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to operate the Service, measure performance, and support marketing. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

6. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information; to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information and of targeted advertising; and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

California (CCPA/CPRA) residents and residents of states including Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, and Utah may exercise these rights using our Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information link or by contacting us at [email protected] or [PHONE]. We will verify your request as required by law and you may use an authorized agent where permitted.

7. Data retention

We retain personal information as long as needed to fulfill the purposes in this Policy, comply with legal and recordkeeping obligations (including consent records), resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.

8. Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children's privacy

The Service is intended for adults 18 and older and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

10. Third-party providers

Once your information is shared with a contractor or partner, that party's own privacy policy governs their use of it. We are not responsible for third parties' practices and encourage you to review their policies.

11. Changes

We may update this Policy from time to time. The "Effective date" reflects the latest version, and material changes will be posted on this page.
